If you do not utilize IE7’s Search Bar and wish to remove it from the browser, simply do the following:
1. Open up Notepad and copy the following:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoftInternet ExplorerInfodeliveryRestrictions]
“NoSearchBox”=dword:00000001
